Job summary

Aviation Welding Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled technician to repair components using electric and air-powered hand tools. You will measure parts with calipers and micrometers, reference OEM prints, and follow established guidelines to ensure precise repairs.

Experience in auto body or mechanical work is a plus. You may also fabricate fixtures and maintain industrial machines, contributing to a wide range of aerospace welding projects.

Qualifications

  • ,Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as an auto body technician or with mechanical experience is a plus
  • Ability to read OEM prints and design sketches
  • Familiarity with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers

Responsibilities

  • Restore components by operating electric/air powered hand tools.
  • Measure, examine, and test completed parts for defects using precision instruments.
  • Use OEM prints/design sketches to ensure proper repair outcomes.
  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform duties.
  • May fabricate to modify fixtures and maintain machines.
