Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls is seeking a Repair & Overhaul Service Technician I in Valencia, CA. You will perform disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of electronic components, actuators, pumps, valves and switches, following maintenance manuals and drawings.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years electro-mechanical experience, can interpret CMMs and schematics, and can pass FAA/DOT drug testing. Training is provided for growth in aerospace repair.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years electro-mechanical accessory experience; new graduates considered.
• Read and interpret CMMs, drawings, schematics and specs.
• Must be able to pass DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol test (no marijuana).
• Experience in repair and overhaul environments preferred.
• Basic shop math and documentation of labor activities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CMMs, blueprints, drawings and specs for repairs.
• Use hand tools and precision instruments to conform to drawings.
• Build, test and overhaul aircraft components and sub-assemblies.
• Assemble, disassemble and replace parts as required.
• Record labor time for each process of repair work.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness and flaws; send for QA testing.
