Job summary

Mason Controls in Sylmar, CA is seeking a Repairs Technician to disassemble, rebuild, and test rotary switches and electrical assemblies. You will perform hand soldering, read schematics, and assemble subassemblies per engineering data in a repair center.

The role requires 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly, familiarity with FAA regs, and a soldering certification is a plus. Position involves bench work, data entry, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• Minimum of three years electro-mechanical assembly experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FAA Regulations 14 CFR 43 & 145.
• Soldering certification of J-standard Rev-C a plus; AS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and rebuild of small rotary switches and electrical assemblies.
• Work at bench in repair center, rebuild end products to original standards.
• Follow approved data and wiring diagrams.
• Hand soldering per wiring diagrams and repair center instructions.
• Mechanical assembly, alignment and adjustment.
• Bond and seal parts to form subassemblies and end products.
• Stamp parts to identify rebuilt units.
• Identify switch functional anomalies.
• Enter data into ERP and use computer for communication.
