The civil design lead will drive aviation-focused design tasks, coordinate with PMs, and mentor design staff to ensure quality and timely project delivery. The role requires a PE license and 8–10+ years of civil experience, with proficiency in Civil 3D/Open Roads tools and strong client communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8 to 10+ years of specialized civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for aviation-related tasks and sub-tasks.
• Develop hours estimates, scope, budgets, and schedule coordination.
• Provide design status updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Oversee sub-tasks and mentor junior design staff.
• Coordinate with internal teams and sub-consultants to meet deadlines.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates with QA/QC compliance.
