Job summary

Flying Food Group in Kahului, HI seeks an Operations Manager to coordinate transportation, dispatch, sanitation, and warehouse activities, ensuring timely, high-quality service to customers. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role in a refrigerated processing environment.

The role manages the operations budget to meet financial targets, oversees training, enforces HACCP and TSA/CBP compliance, and drives safety and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing or processing experience a plus.
• Minimum 4-5 years broad-based Operations Management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Financial management and leadership skills.
• Effective employee relations and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees transportation, dispatch, sanitation, and warehouse operations.
• Manages the operations budget to achieve financial goals.
• Ensures training, HACCP, TSA/CBP compliance and safety.
• Coordinates equipment setup, loading accuracy, and inventory.
