Job summary

Encore is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support shipping, receiving, QC, and inventory control at our New York location. You will process orders, operate forklifts, ensure safety, and maintain equipment while collaborating with multiple departments to sustain efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires 1–3 years in a warehouse setting, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and basic IT skills. Regular hours with potential for varying shifts in a dynamic event-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• RF-based WMS experience preferred.
• Experience operating industrial forklift equipment.
• Strong communication with team, leadership and customers.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inbound/Outbound Order Processing: receive, ship and label product, pick-up from inventoried locations and pack orders for delivery.
• Quality control and inventory management procedures.
• Logistics: process shipments for small parcel, LTL and internal fleet.
• Operate industrial forklifts (sit-down, reach, stock picker, pallet jack).
• Safety: daily forklift/equipment checklists and safety initiatives.
• Warehouse housekeeping: clean, safe work area and maintain equipment.
• Customer service: high service standards and cross-department collaboration.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and operational efficiency.
