Job summary

The University of California, Berkeley is seeking an AV Systems Operations Specialist to maintain and advance AV, UC, and production technology across campus spaces within CDSS. Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects, you will provide hands-on operational support, troubleshoot complex systems, and help scale our unified communications and livestream workflows.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience supporting enterprise AV, UC, classroom technology, or production technology environments.
Experience with Crestron ecosystems, Zoom Rooms, AV-over-IP and DSP platforms.
Experience supporting livestreaming, hybrid collaboration, or production workflows.
Experience creating technical documentation and SOPs.
Strong communication and stakeholder-support skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2/3 operational and technical support for classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, and event spaces.
Troubleshoot and support Crestron environments, DM-NVX, Zoom Rooms, DSP platforms, and UC hardware.
Monitor AV/UC system health and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
Develop SOPs, room documentation, and operational workflows.
Support livestreaming, hybrid events, and production workflows.
