Job summary

Global Security Mgmt is seeking an AV Technician site lead in Washington, DC. You will set up, test, operate, and troubleshoot AV systems for events and installations, with site lead providing day-to-day duties after hire.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and proven AV technician experience, with preferred associates degree/cert in AV Technology and knowledge of Crestron/AMX. Expect 8-hour days, Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00, with potential overtime based on events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus proven AV technician experience.
• Solid understanding of signal flow and ability to read technical schematics.
• Associate degree/certification in AV Technology or related field preferred; live event/broadcast experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle AV equipment (sound, video, lighting) for events and installations.
• Provide live event support and troubleshooting.
• Perform routine maintenance and collaborate with event coordinators.
