Job summary

AV3, Inc., a southern Maryland-based AV systems integrator, seeks a Lead AVTechnician to support government AV/VTC production and installation. The right candidate must be mechanically inclined, adaptable, and able to meet physical demands, with up to 60% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Responsibilities include project life-cycle management, loading/testing control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron), configuring AV gear, fabricating racks, site surveys, and maintaining certifications.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; CTS preferred.
• 5+ years loading, testing, troubleshooting AV control systems.
• Ability to travel up to 60% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.
• DoD Top Secret clearance strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manages all life-cycle phases of a project with documentation.
• Loads, tests, and troubleshoots control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron).
• Configures AV equipment (Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, Biamp).
• Fabricates, terminates, and installs AV/IT cabling.
• Performs site surveys and documents requirements for Engineers/PMs.
• Travels onsite to lead installs; up to 60% travel.
