Job summary

IES is seeking an experienced AV Installer in Englewood, CO to install and service commercial audio/visual systems. The role requires familiarity with industry standards, safety practices, and the ability to interface with clients.

Candidates should understand system function, read schematics, and travel within the branch/region as needed. The position offers full-time employment with benefits after 30 days and requires at least a high school diploma; electronics training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some experience with audiovisual or electro‑mechanical installation techniques.
• Experience with video conferencing systems preferred (Polycom, Tandberg, Cisco, LifeSize).
• Good experience in AV residential field and structured wiring.

Responsibilities

• AV cable pulling and rack build/pre-wire.
• Hang projector screens and install AV equipment to industry standards.
• Install speakers, displays, cameras, and microphones.
• Solder AV connectors and terminate shielded cable.
• Troubleshoot AV systems and perform terminations per diagrams.
• Work with projectors, screens, video conferencing, and controls.
• Build racks and provide feedback for process improvements.
