Job summary

IES is hiring an AV installer to drive the installation of commercial audiovisual systems across multiple sites. You will pull cables, pre-wire racks, hang projector screens, and mount displays while ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety practices.

You will interface with clients and teammates to deliver quality projects. This role requires practical knowledge of AV components, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel within the branch/regional territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal electronics training preferred.
• Some AV installation or field servicing experience.
• Experience with Polycom, Cisco, LifeSize, or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial AV systems per specifications.
• Pull AV cables and pre-wire racks.
• Hang projector screens and mount displays.
• Install speakers, cameras, microphones, and control devices.
• Build structures to mount AV equipment following safety standards.
• Troubleshoot AV systems at expert level.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients on installations.
