Job summary
Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, seeks an audiovisual (AV) technician to install and maintain meeting-room AV systems, ensuring smooth events and guest experiences. You will set up equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and support events with professional service.
Responsibilities include wiring, testing, and coordinating with vendors, while maintaining documentation and progress reports for all AV work.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a high paced environment.
- Familiar with audio visual concepts and networking.
- Experience with audio, video, control systems and related tech.
- Experience in systems integration and networking (TCP/IP).
Responsibilities
- Install audiovisual hardware for end users.
- Assist in advanced AV hardware/software installation under supervision.
- Set up meeting rooms with AV equipment.
- Perform routine room setups and operational tasks.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on AV hardware.
- Test, evaluate, and install AV equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues; provide user training.
- Coordinate with vendors when needed.
- Document installations, maintenance, and configurations.
- Prepare progress reports on work performed.
