Job summary

Ahern Hotel & Convention Center is seeking an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Technician to join our Las Vegas team. The role covers setup, operation, and teardown of AV equipment for events at the hotel and convention spaces.

You will work with clients to align AV configurations with BEOs, troubleshoot on-site issues, and ensure high-quality audio and visual experiences for concerts, conferences, and meetings. Requires at least two years in AV or related fields and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least two years of AV experience including audio, video, lighting and rigging for live events preferred.
• One year of AV/theatrical technician experience preferred.
• One year of banquet setup/strike experience preferred.
• Familiar with wireless and wired audio systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot video connections and networks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install equipment for events, meetings, and conventions.
• Operate sound equipment for live entertainment events.
• Interface with clients to ensure exceptional service.
• Diagnose and correct AV system problems.
• Test and store AV equipment after use.
