Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV seeks an AV Manager to lead the AV team and oversee day-to-day AV operations across conventions, hotel, casino, and spa. You will collaborate with upper management on plans, forecasts, and budgets for the IT/AV department, develop escalation procedures, and ensure service levels are maintained.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience and 6+ years in audio-visual and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must obtain a Nevada Gaming license.
• Must obtain OSHA 30 certification in the first 90 days.
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• 6+ years’ experience with audio, video, control systems and technology.
• Able to prioritize and get projects done in a demanding environment.
• Must adhere to grooming standards, no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.

Responsibilities

• Leads the AV team by example as a lead AV tech.
• Works with upper management to develop plans, forecasts, and budgets for the IT department.
• Creates and manages escalation procedures and ensures service levels are maintained.
• Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problems.
• Develops AV tech schedules, prioritizes projects, support calls and resources for installation and support.
• Collaborates with management to develop standards.
• Conducts and reports on research and procurement of relevant technology.
• Creates and manages procedures.
• Documents and trains on all work performed.
• Prepares progressive reports for all work performed.
• Works with AV Team to install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, applications, equipment and systems.
• Trains new AV techs on all systems and provides first line of support for questions.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventions.
• Follow and maintain proper safety practices.

The AV team is responsible for all Audio and Video technology in the property – Conventions, Hotel, Casino, and Spa.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

• Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, climb ladders and scaffolding, lift in excess of 50 pounds, work in high places, and work in small cramped places
• Ability to work long periods on their feet
