Job summary

RDV Corporation in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Audio/Visual Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting, implementing, and maintaining AV systems across the organization.

You will learn from experienced AV professionals, work with Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms, and collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Communications teams to ensure smooth AV operations at meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Audio-Visual Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of corporate audio-visual technologies and video conferencing platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and resolve problems promptly.
• Assist in maintenance and support of AV equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities and Communications teams to ensure AV operations run smoothly.
• Document AV setups, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Support meetings and events using Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
