Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a Design Engineer to translate client needs into robust AV system designs and thorough documentation. You will work with sales and Account Managers to capture requirements, assess risks, and communicate solutions to stakeholders.

In this role you’ll present designs, develop detailed design packages, and ensure the project team has exact specs for execution. Strong problem-solving and CAD/BIM skills are essential to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in audiovisual system design or integration.
• Formal education in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into comprehensive AV system designs and documentation.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to understand customer needs and present design concepts.
• Develop design packages, bill of materials, and scopes of work for projects.
• Provide labor estimates and material requirements for proposals.
