Job summary

GST, Inc. is seeking an AV Solutions Architect to design scalable AV solutions and support pre-sales engagements. You will partner with sales, document requirements, and translate them into system designs and architectures for client proposals.

The role involves reviewing designs, assisting with pricing, and creating detailed system documents while coordinating with vendors and engineers. On-site work in Cerritos, CA with opportunity to impact revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in the audiovisual industry.
• CTS-D certification preferred.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
• Experience creating quotes and Statements of Work (SOWs) under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales account teams to identify opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Lead pre-sales discussions to capture AV and data center requirements.
• Translate requirements into comprehensive system designs and architectures.
• Develop client proposals with tailored solution designs.
• Review pre-construction designs for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with design development, pricing, and risk assessment.
• Create system documentation, including descriptions and diagrams.
• Identify cabling needs and materials for project execution.
• Provide material and labor estimates to support quoting.
• Serve as a technical liaison for customers' engineering inquiries.
• Support sales with technology updates and guidance.
• Obtain vendor certifications as required.
