Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years in commercial AV design, engineering, or technical sales.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and create system diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer facing skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to job sites and client locations.

Responsibilities

• Support sales opportunities from initial discovery through contract award.
• Conduct site surveys, technical discovery meetings, and client consultations.
• Design AV and technology solutions for commercial, education, and hospitality markets.
• Develop system designs, equipment lists (BOMs), scopes of work, and technical documentation.
• Participate in sales presentations, demos, and proposal reviews.
• Support RFP/RFQ responses with technical narratives and compliance input.
• Ensure designs are buildable, code-compliant, and aligned with budgets.
• Participate in internal project handoff and closeout meetings.
• Stay current on AV technologies, standards, and industry trends.
