Job summary

Cenero LLC in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Project Designer II to lead pre-sales AV design activities from our local office. You will specify materials, estimate labor, and craft scope of work to deliver client projects.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years AV experience, CTS certification, and a technical degree. This role requires frequent customer interaction, site surveys, and travel about 1 day per week.

Qualifications

• Requires 2- or 4-year technical degree.
• 4+ years AV experience.
• CTS certification required; CTS-D a plus.
• Manufacturing certifications required.
• Experience with installing or supporting AV equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope of work for AV services to be delivered.
• Interface with sales team and customers to define scope.
• Work from Columbia, MD office at least 3 days per week.
• Develop specifications for materials and labor.
• Collaborate with teams to incorporate managed services as needed.
• Travel to regional customers—avg ~1 day per week.
• Attend meetings and conduct site surveys.
