Job summary

Cenero is seeking a Project Designer II to lead pre-sales AV design activities from our Columbia, MD office. You will develop scopes, specifications, and pricing, interfacing with the sales team and customers to craft comprehensive AV solutions.

The role requires 4+ years of AV experience, CTS certification, and ability to travel about one day per week. You will be in a customer-facing role, contributing to revenue goals while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year technical degree required.
• 4+ years of AV experience.
• CTS certification required; CTS-D a plus.
• Manufacturing certifications required or preferred.
• Experience installing or supporting AV equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope of work for AV services; create material specifications and labor estimates.
• Interface with sales team and customers to align on requirements and pricing.
• Prepare subcontractor or special material pricing where needed.
• Travel to regional customers, approximately 1 day per week.
• Work from Columbia, MD office at least 3 days per week.
• Provide professional representation of Cenero to customers and project contacts.
