Job summary

Nuro is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its In-Vehicle Team in Los Angeles to build and lead a 20-strong operator team, hire and onboard new staff, and drive performance improvements across operations.

You will manage interviews, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews, while coordinating with planning to ensure readiness for new features and tweaks to throughput. A fast-paced, collaborative environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports.
• Understanding of US Labor laws, Employment laws and Driving laws.
• Strong problem solver with initiative to resolve issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hiring & onboarding: run interviews and onboard new hires with Learning & Development team.
• People development: coach and mentor a team of ~20 operators, ensure training up to date.
• Performance management: conduct reviews and refine metrics with stakeholders.
• Execution: manage start/end of shift, attendee tracking, data imports, and readiness for new features.
