Job summary

Nuro's In-Vehicle Team seeks a Shift Supervisor to build a high-performing AV operator group and drive continuous improvement. You will hire, onboard, coach, and assess ~20 operators, ensuring training stays current and performance reviews align with metrics.

You will coordinate shift activities, collaborate with planning, and maintain visibility on operator availability to meet weekly goals. The role requires leadership, problem solving, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment,

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports.
• Strong leadership and ownership of team work.
• Understanding of US labor and driving laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard operators and develop interview processes with L&D.
• Lead a team of ~20 operators, provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage Start/End of Shift activities, attendance, and data imports.
• Ensure training readiness with planning team and monitor weekly plan vs actual.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization across locations.
