Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks an On-Call AV technician to set up and operate audiovisual systems for events in a hospitality setting. You will support help desk services while ensuring client satisfaction and smooth event execution.

Responsibilities include coordinating AV needs, managing live productions, and troubleshooting during events, with emphasis on presentation support, room inspections, and timely IT collaboration.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in related network and end user operating systems desired.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience with various computer technologies, including AV.
• Conference Center/Hotel or related experience preferred.
• Experience with web streaming equipment and hardware encoding for webcasting.
• Experience with web conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Webex; Extron/Crestron control systems desired.
• Programming and troubleshooting installed AV and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and prepare AV needs for events and coordinate live audio/video.
• Support multimedia, AV, and videoconferencing operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with end users.
• Assist end users with setup for conferences and ensure equipment operability.
• Monitor daily AV conference room schedule and availability.
• Provide presentation support and handling of final media assets.
• Set up, operate, support, breakdown, and transport AV equipment.
