Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking an IT Support Engineer to support, monitor, and maintain a wide range of AV conferencing and network solutions for a global client base. The role involves hands-on work with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS) and audio DSP platforms (Biamp, Shure), ensuring reliable meeting environments worldwide.

Qualifications

Experience in an IT Engineer/Technician role with exposure to AV environments.
Hands-on experience supporting AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS) and audio DSP platforms (Biamp, Shure, etc.).
Ability to communicate clearly at all levels and to diverse technical abilities.
Proven track record delivering within defined success measures.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line contact to clients via phone, email, and remote VPN access.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, network, and AV faults.
Support, configure, and maintain AV control systems including Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS.
Configure, tune, and troubleshoot audio DSP platforms such as Biamp and Shure.
Monitor and maintain customer endpoint estates, including AV endpoints and networked devices.
Maintain infrastructure reliability, optimization, and security to meet SLAs.
Deliver IT/AV support with a focus on resilience, backup, and recovery.
