Job summary

NexTech Solutions is seeking an experienced AV Support Engineer to manage enterprise conferencing environments across corporate meeting spaces, executive rooms, and special events. You will provide hands-on support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT teams to keep operations reliable.

You will install, configure, and maintain AV hardware and software, perform updates, and contribute to lifecycle planning and standards compliance to ensure a seamless meeting experience for users.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise AV environments.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise AV systems, conferencing tech, and room solutions.
• Experience managing AV asset inventories, lifecycle planning, and refresh schedules.
• Working knowledge of AV hardware and software on Windows and Mac.
• Understanding networking (LAN/WLAN/WAN) as it relates to AV.
• Experience with third-party AV vendors and integrated technology solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service for technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high service quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for AV incidents, service requests, and issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain enterprise AV systems, conferencing tech, and room solutions.
• Install, configure, and support AV hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Support conference rooms, executive meetings, presentations, and events.
• Perform scheduled software, firmware, and system updates.
• Assist with AV deployments, hardware refreshes, upgrades, and migrations.

• Track equipment age, warranty status, and refresh history.
• Generate reports to support lifecycle planning and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and partners to resolve issues.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend reliability improvements.
• Participate in testing, validation, and change management for new tech.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience supporting enterprise audio-visual environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise AV systems, conferencing technologies, control platforms, and integrated meeting room solutions.
• Experience managing AV asset inventories, lifecycle planning, equipment refresh schedules, and technology documentation.
• Working knowledge of AV hardware and software in Windows and Mac environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN connectivity as it relates to AV technologies.
• Experience working with third- party AV vendors and integrated technology solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem- solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support both technical and non- technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting executive conference rooms and enterprise meeting technologies.
• Experience participating in enterprise technology deployments and hardware refresh initiatives.
