Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Los Angeles seeks a Tier 2 Audio Visual Field Technician to install and service a wide range of AV technologies at client sites. You will manage cabling, rack building, troubleshooting, and ensure quality installations while coordinating with project teams.

Travel up to 70% is required; candidates must have AV experience (Crestron/Extron/QSYS/Cisco), strong communication, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV systems (Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Cisco).
• Understanding of signal flow and AV rack building per AVIXA.
• Familiarity with AV industry cabling and connector termination.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Strong communication and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness/ability to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain AV technology across client sites.
• Provide daily reporting to the Project Management team.
• Perform cable management and layout for first fix hardware.
• Ensure installations comply with contract requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Travel to other sites as needed to support projects.
