Job summary

5 North Media Inc. is seeking a field service technician for on-site AV installation and support in Southern California. The ideal candidate will install, diagnose and service AV systems including sound systems, media rooms, cameras, and related IT infrastructure.

Travel up to 50% is required; a clean driving record and driver's license are essential. Responsibilities include independent or team-based installation, on-site troubleshooting, and providing excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in residential or commercial AV installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and come up with creative solutions.
• Self motivation and the ability to see a job through from beginning to end.
• Knowledge and experience with low-voltage
• Professional demeanor and clean work appearance
• Excellent client interaction/relationship skills
• Ability to work well individually as well as with a team
• Desire and drive to learn new products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and support of complex audio/video systems in varied customer environments.
• Diagnose and service audio/video equipment; work independently or in a team to install and troubleshoot AV systems.
