Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer for Event and Specialty Spaces in Los Angeles to support AV systems across high‑profile venues. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain audio‑visual equipment, ensuring events run smoothly and spaces stay production‑ready.

You will perform hands‑on troubleshooting, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and process improvements while supporting pre‑ and post‑event activities and UAT testing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in AV field engineering or related roles.
• Strong troubleshooting across AV control systems, DSPs, routing, conferencing, projection, and lights.
• Experience delivering support for live events and time-sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for AV issues in event spaces.
• Respond to escalated incidents requiring field engineering.
• Diagnose with onsite tools across Mac, Windows, Linux, AV control, and networked devices.
• Document symptoms and actions in the ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Lead Field Engineer.
• Perform venue equipment sweeps prior to priority events.
• Support event operations technicians before, during, and after events.
• Participate in UAT for new Event spaces and validate readiness.
• Execute preventative maintenance on AV hardware and cabling.
• Coordinate with engineers and vendors to resolve systemic issues.
