Job summary

Covestic Inc. seeks an AV Events Technician to support large-scale corporate events with in-room AV, streaming, and live production execution.

You will assist with starting in-room presentations, provide dedicated technical support for AV equipment, and may work flexible hours including after hours and weekends. Responsibilities include operating A1/A2 roles, setting up and configuring gear, and ensuring high-quality event playback and audio/video integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; experience/skill level considered.
AVIXA CTS certification preferred.
Experience working on corporate events is desired.

Responsibilities

Act as event production A1 or A2, Graphics, or TD/switching as needed.
Set up, configure, operate, and support event productions.
Understand current audio/video standards and equipment.
Serve as primary point of contact for all audio and video production items for events.
Ensure well-produced events for streaming and in-person experience.
Follow run-of-show for show flow.
Collaborate with crew before and during shows.
Attend pre-show production meetings.
Test all show playback elements for proper playout.
Follow event content to ensure maximum quality.
Maintain accurate audio levels and video feeds for records.
Program and operate switchers, graphics, mixers, mics, and AV gear.
Manage gear configuration upgrades and develop new show elements.
Place and track lav microphones with presenters.
Prepare, organize, and track handheld mics and other equipment.
Reset space to pre-production standards.
Communicate with Executive Leadership and support staff for high-profile events.
Collaborate with clients and departments across the company.
