Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Staffed Technologies Validation Engineer to develop, test, and troubleshoot software systems for staffed, semi-autonomous, and autonomous machinery.

You will collaborate with engineers to meet internal and external client needs and contribute to validation plans and their execution. The role emphasizes test planning, data analysis, and staying current with technology through conferences and self-study, with opportunities to travel up to 10% and visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• Experience with CAT MineStar systems: Health, Fleet, Detect, and CMD.
• On-machine validation experience.
• Experience with Vector tools CANape and CANalyzer.
• Linux operating system experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineers or related field.

• Develop, execute, and document validation plans with strong quality focus.
• Perform advanced data and systems analysis to troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate technical status updates and test results with teams.
