Penn State Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) in State College, PA, is seeking a Robotics Engineer to advance autonomy for unmanned underwater vehicles (UxVs). The role involves software development, testing, and integration across sensors, navigation, and mission planning within a DoD-sponsored program.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team to drive prototype architectures, conduct SIL/HIL and on-water testing, and contribute to ENV modeling and system integration.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Eligibility for security clearance at the Secret level or higher may be required.

Mansioni

• Develop and deploy autonomy software for UxVs, including simulation, field testing, and integration with sensors/payloads.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary software/systems engineers across navigation, communications, modeling, and CONOPS.
• Plan, perform, and lead analyses, modeling, and testing of prototype architectures; support DoD sponsors.
