Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead a team of vehicle operators in autonomous vehicle testing and data collection. You will plan test routes, assign operators, and ensure safety and quality while collaborating with hardware and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in automotive driving or autonomous testing.
• Flexible and able to perform diverse tasks.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of good judgment under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with a smartphone, laptop, and Google Docs/Sheets/Maps.
• Willing to travel and work overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements and scheduling.
• Assign test routes and vehicles to operators.
• On-site point of contact for vehicle operators.
• Develop processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet strategic goals.
• Prepare training materials and onboarding for operators.
• Maintain operator relations and drive performance.
• Monitor test routes and driving data; ensure procedures are followed.
• Develop operational reports, dashboards and data tools for timely results.
• Ensure tools and equipment are organized and accessible.
• Perform vehicle inspections and initial troubleshooting; update software/hardware as needed.
• Oversee transfer of drive data from vehicle to cloud/servers.
