Job summary

Rivian in South San Francisco is seeking a Site Coordinator for Autonomy Systems Validation to lead a team of vehicle operators across test routes, collect data, and integrate development hardware and software. You will plan, coordinate, and implement safety procedures, work with hardware and software engineers, develop reports and dashboards, and ensure high performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum as supervisory experience in automotive driving or autonomous vehicle testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe events concisely.
• Proficiency using a smartphone, laptop, and Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Maps).
• Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project requirements and scheduling, ensuring sufficient coverage.
• Assign test routes and vehicles to operators based on plan and availability.
• Act as primary on-site contact for the operator team.
• Implement processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering to achieve strategic goals.
• Prepare training materials and assist onboarding new operators.
• Motivate operators to reach objectives and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain operator relations and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure schedules are maintained and monitor driving habits.
• Set KPIs and develop operational reports and dashboards.
