Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Sr. Engineer - Autonomy to design, develop and integrate ROS2-based autonomy software for active safety and unmanned vehicle control.

You will support field tests, write design documentation, and assist senior engineers in planning and reporting, including travel to off-site locations as needed. Under supervision, you will perform software engineering tasks, develop test plans, and ensure quality deliverables in compliance with Oshkosh standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and ROS2-based software development.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu 22.04+ and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Python and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate ROS2-based autonomy software.
• Support field tests and validations.
• Write requirements and design documentation.
• Direct support of programs including travel to off-site locations as necessary.
