Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Senior Engineer - Autonomy & Active Safety to design, develop, and validate autonomy and active safety systems across ADAS and unmanned vehicles. You will perform systems engineering, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and software development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to validate requirements and improve test automation and software tooling.

Qualifications

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or related field with three (3)+ years of experience.
Experience developing and validating autonomy, active safety, ADAS, or unmanned vehicle systems.
Understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements development, verification, and traceability.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, perform engineering calculations, investigations, software development, hardware selection, and tasks per Oshkosh standards.
Support senior Engineers in test plans, system designs, computation methods, and reporting.
Responsible for a project or part of a project of limited complexity; may manage multiple projects.
Collaborate with other engineering or business support disciplines.
Provide guidance to entry level engineers, designers, or technicians.
