Scientific Systems in Burlington, MA is seeking an Autonomy Software Engineer I to join the core AI-enabled Autonomy Software team. You will contribute to day-to-day agile software engineering, DevSecOps, and CI/CD integration while performing software testing and evaluation on advanced modeling platforms.

The role requires DoD-style standards, collaboration across programs, and the ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent with software R&D in AI for robotics or autonomous systems.
• Experience leading autonomy integration teams to deliver capabilities.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python; familiar with ROS and DoD standards.

Responsibilities

• Support migrations of SSCI software to the Digital Engineering Environment.
• Write and review software documentation.
• Support development sprints and code reviews.
• Develop software to meet program milestones using Agile methods.
• Collaborate with Prime and customer teams and maintain security posture.
