Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join the Phantom Works software team in Berkeley, MO. You will develop reusable C++ services and containerized components supporting both simulation and flight environments.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ fundamentals, Linux experience, and familiarity with GitLab CI or Jenkins. Active security clearance and a Bachelor’s degree are required, with onsite work at the Berkeley location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required.
• 2+ years of experience developing software using C++.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Experience with GitLab or similar version control tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ autonomy services within Phantom Works autonomy platforms.
• Implement and maintain OMS/UCI interfaces for inter-service communication.
• Develop and maintain containerized services using Docker/Podman in Linux environments.
• Integrate services across simulation and flight environments.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
• Document interfaces, architectures, and integration patterns.
