Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector seeks a Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer to join our onsite team in Redondo Beach, CA to advance leading-edge software for our most advanced systems.

You will design, develop, integrate and test software, apply C++, Python, AI/ML, and DevOps tools; travel to test sites, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM with 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree.
• Principal level requires 5 years (Bachelor) or 3 years (Master) in relevant field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government clearance and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, integration and testing of software systems.
• Work in a fast paced, dynamic team environment and collaborate across projects.
• Travel to test sites to support flight test activities as needed.
• Develop and debug C++ and Python code for autonomous systems.
