Job summary

Sales Recruiters is representing a growing preclinical CRO seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth on a national and international stage. You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities with scientists at biotech startups and early-stage pharma companies, building and managing a robust sales pipeline.

You will collaborate with internal scientific staff to develop compelling materials, attend industry conferences, and operate as a self-directed hunter who thrives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
• At least 2 years of direct sales, business development, or marketing in preclinical CRO/pharma/biotech.
• Experience selling multiple stages of drug discovery (POC, in vitro assays, efficacy).
• Strong understanding of preclinical drug development (in vivo/in vitro).
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel to conferences and client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across national and international territories.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with scientists in biotech and pharma.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline and quote CRO work.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and events.
