Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software product management, ideally in technical areas such as autonomous systems or AI/ML.
• Working fluency in autonomy and controls concepts and ability to reason with engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational understanding of back-end web technologies and distributed systems.
• Aptitude for prototyping solutions and AI code generation.
• Ability to decompose complex projects and drive software execution.
• Experience with coordinating stakeholders and managing dependencies.
• Willingness to travel for discovery and testing up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for autonomy capabilities across backend services and UI oversight.
• Define autonomy behavior, interfaces, safety guards, and decision controls.
• Coordinate with engineering to surface cross-team dependencies and track delivery.
• Communicate roadmaps and status to stakeholders; escalate trade-offs as needed.
• Own the autonomy capability area with business, proposals, marketing, and compliance.
• Work hands-on to deliver capabilities across lifecycle from release to improvements.
• Define and monitor metrics for autonomy performance, safety, and controls.
• Interview operators and subject matter experts to derive user needs.
• Bridge business and technical teams, fostering culture and best practices.
• Partner with test engineers to devise rigorous testing scenarios.
