Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Manager for its Strategic Defense team, based in Washington, DC or Seattle, WA. You will shape autonomous air and missile defense features, develop domain expertise, and drive end-to-end delivery of capabilities leveraging AI/ML technologies with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will own roadmaps, coordinate with engineering, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely, effective demonstrations and field testing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software product management, ideally in highly technical areas such as autonomous systems or AI/ML products.
• Working fluency in autonomy and controls concepts—state estimation, planning, and closed-loop control.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for key autonomy capabilities, translating warfighter needs into actionable roadmaps and specifications.
• Define autonomy behavior and human-machine interfaces, including safety controls and overrides.
• Coordinate with engineering to surface dependencies, track delivery, and ensure schedule accountability.
• Communicate roadmaps and status to stakeholders, escalate trade-offs as needed.
• Work across teams to articulate product capabilities externally and support demonstrations and customer exercises.
• Deliver new capabilities from release to onboarding, with iterative validation and user voice throughout.
• Define metrics for autonomy performance, safety, and controls in operational conditions.
• Interview operators and SMEs to derive user needs and propagate insights across the org.
• Bridge business and technical teams, collaborating with BD, marketing, compliance, and finance.
