Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Software Product Manager to shape features for autonomous air and missile defense, coordinating with AI/ML teams and defense operators. Qualifications

• Must have active U.S. security clearance (Top Secret clearance preferred).
• 3–5 years in software product management, ideally in highly technical areas such as autonomous systems or AI/ML products.
• Fluency in autonomy and controls concepts—state estimation, planning, and closed-loop control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational understanding of backend web technologies and distributed systems.
• Aptitude for prototyping solutions, including AI code generation.
• Ability to decompose and organize technically complex projects.
• Proven ability to drive software execution—planning, dependencies, and schedule accountability.
• Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders across technical comfort levels.
• Ability to travel for discovery and testing (up to 50%).

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for autonomy capabilities including backend services and UI oversight.
• Define autonomy behavior and human-machine interfaces with safety guardrails.
• Coordinate with engineering to surface dependencies and keep delivery on schedule.
• Communicate roadmaps and status to stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Operate as owner of the autonomy capability area, interfacing with BD, proposals, marketing, and compliance.
• Contribute hands-on across lifecycle from release to day-to-day improvements, validating with user feedback.
• Collaborate with test engineers to design rigorous testing scenarios for software and hardware integration.
• Gather insights from defense operators and subject-matter experts to inform product decisions.
• Bridge business and technical teams to align objectives and drive best practices.
• Support test design and execution for complex, combined systems.
