BairesDev is seeking a Validation Engineer (AV) to ensure the reliability and safety of autonomous vehicle systems through rigorous testing and simulation. You will lead end-to-end evaluation pipelines and drive offline validation across multiple scenarios.

Join a global, 100% remote team to develop Python data pipelines, design scenarios with CARLA or DRIVE Sim, and own the validation lifecycle from design to deployment while collaborating with English-speaking engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with autonomous vehicle validation.
• Experience designing simulation pipelines with CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.
• Experience with scenario generation, offline evaluation, and automated testing.
• Proficient in Python and large-scale data analysis pipelines.
• Strong understanding of validation methodologies and end-to-end ownership.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage end-to-end simulation pipelines to validate AV behaviors.
• Design diverse testing scenarios using CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.
• Develop automated testing protocols and offline evaluation strategies.
• Engineer large-scale data analysis pipelines in Python.
• Own the validation lifecycle from design to deployment.
