Job summary

TRUCKING PEOPLE is hiring a Driver Tester to operate and test self-driving vehicles in real-world conditions. This full-time contract role includes an overnight shift from 11:45 PM to 8:15 AM and opportunities to contribute to safety, readiness, and daily operations.

You will drive during overnight hours, support testing and operations, and perform basic software and system tasks, daily checks, and data reporting in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and background.
• Comfortable driving for long periods (6+ hours/day).
• Basic tech and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive 4–8 hours per day (safety is the priority).
• Support vehicle testing and operations.
• Perform basic software and system tasks.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintenance.
• Keep vehicles clean and ready.
• Track data and complete reports.
• Work with engineering and operations teams.
• Help move and manage vehicles and equipment.
