Latitude AI in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Mission Operator for an overnight contract to support our test driving program. This role focuses on hands-on vehicle testing, safety, and data collection to advance autonomous driving research.

You’ll drive test vehicles across long distances, monitor systems, document results, and collaborate with engineers to improve software and hardware performance in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• Comfort driving long hours and working in close quarters with others.
• Strong technical curiosity and ability to troubleshoot software/hardware.

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles for long-distance missions and travel.
• Operate across diverse schedules and manage start-up, engagement, and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software and hardware on the road.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols and document vehicle performance.
• Provide feedback to engineers and maintain professional on-road conduct.
