Job summary

Motional is hiring an AV Test Operator II to safely operate prototype Autonomous Vehicles and execute in-vehicle tests. You will annotate data, report results, and mentor new operators, while maintaining strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating test plans, documenting findings, and supporting mapping and operations metrics. Strong English communication and driving credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for 10 years.
• Experience as an Operator/Driver for Autonomous Vehicles welcome.
• Able to read maps and understand testing areas.
• Proficient with laptops, GSuite, and touchscreen devices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate prototype Autonomous Vehicles on defined and undefined routes.
• Record data, annotate as required, and provide feedback to engineers.
• Use JIRA to manage tasks and update ticket status.
• Direct test execution and coordinate with left/right seat operators.
• Provide quality ride service when applicable and maintain safety.
