Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Readiness and Response Operator 2 for an autonomous vehicle client in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform pre- and post-service checks, manage on-road recoveries, and use remote tools to influence vehicle state while staying professional with the public.

This role requires 2–4 years in fast-paced operations, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with terminal commands.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in fast-paced environments blending logistics and customer service.
• Ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record.
• Comfort using terminal commands and remote operation interfaces to manage vehicle states.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in workshops and on public roads.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑service and post‑service checks including mechanical inspections and sensor verification.
• Act as primary in-field responder for vehicle recovery and documentation.
• Use remote operation tools to maneuver autonomous vehicles during recovery scenarios.
• Provide professional assistance to passengers during recovery events.
• Diagnose blockers and power-cycle hardware or flash firmware to restore operation.
