Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer for a client leading in autonomous vehicle technology in San Francisco, CA. You will serve as the primary contact for real-time sensor escalations and work with engineering to improve fleet reliability.

You will perform root cause analysis from logs, develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, and validate new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras. A strong problem-solving mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles focusing on perception systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and safe troubleshooting.
• Understanding of hardware/software system architecture and protocols.
• Ability to read schematics and connector pinouts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for real-time sensor escalations.
• Perform root cause analysis by reviewing logs.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides.
• Perform hardware bring-up and validation for LiDAR, radar, and cameras.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve tooling and preventative measures.
