Source One Technical Solutions is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to diagnose sensor-related fleet issues and improve vehicle uptime for an autonomous ride-hailing platform. This hands-on role focuses on root cause analysis, log reviews, and collaboration with engineering and operations.

Responsibilities include real-time sensor escalations, troubleshooting LiDAR, radar, and cameras, developing guides, validating hardware bring-up, calibrations, and occasional U.S.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant engineering experience in transportation, aerospace, autonomous vehicles, automotive, or related systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
  • Experience with vehicle systems, perception systems, or sensors.
  • Experience troubleshooting LiDAR, radar, cameras, or similar sensors.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, connector pinouts, and related documentation.
  • Experience with Linux and Python-based systems.
  • Experience working with software that interfaces with hardware.
  • Familiarity with networking, TCP/IP, socket programming.
  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Comfortable providing real-time technical support in an operational environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed with advance notice.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for real-time sensor-related fleet escalations.
  • Perform root cause analysis using vehicle logs, telemetry, and sensor data.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues affecting fleet operations.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides and diagnostic procedures for technicians.
  • Support hardware bring-up and validation of LiDAR, radar, cameras, and other sensor components.
  • Perform sensor calibration and validate data integrity.
  • Review historical fleet and vehicle data to identify trends and recurring problems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve diagnostic tools and issue detection.
  • Develop countermeasures to prevent recurring fleet issues.
  • Define and capture data needed to validate repairs and measure results.
  • Provide real-time technical support to vehicle operations.
  • Occasionally travel within the U.S. for onsite technical support.

We are seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to provide technical support for sensor-related fleet issues and help improve vehicle uptime, performance, and reliability for a leading autonomous ride-hailing company.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on diagnosing complex vehicle and sensor issues, performing root cause analysis, reviewing logs and vehicle data, developing troubleshooting procedures, and partnering with engineering and operations teams to resolve recurring fleet issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for real-time sensor-related fleet escalations.

  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
