Job summary

TLD Robotics seeks a Field Service Engineer based in Bloomington, IL to deploy, service, and support autonomous vehicle solutions for North American customers. You'll work at customer sites, performing commissioning, maintenance, and on-site training while coordinating with the Project Manager and field services team.

Success relies on hands-on mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work, strong customer engagement, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field.
Minimum of 2 years experience as technician/engineer in automotive/robotics/automation/manufacturing industries.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

Deploy and service autonomous vehicles at customer sites.
Conduct vehicle commissioning and validation, provide feedback for improvements.
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance interventions.
Install and configure autonomous hardware and software components.
Deliver training and assist customers in operation and deployment.
Provide remote assistance and support systems.
Report risks and changes, assist in mitigation planning.
Contribute to continuous improvement of vehicle solutions and deployment processes.
